What Our Families Say

We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges® – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.

IN GOOD HANDS DURING COVID-19

I truly appreciate everything you are doing in this time of challenging circumstances. I know my mother is in good hands and being able to see her on FaceTime is very helpful. The staff is doing everything that is necessary to keep everyone safe and I am grateful, and I know my mom is as well.

COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM

I have attended several caregiver support workshops by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood and have found them very helpful. The experience, compassion and professionalism conveyed during these groups is wonderful and again, very helpful. We are not yet a resident of Bridges, but they are providing a real community service presenting these support groups and having them open to the public, not just families of residents. AND, I learned that they are also a great source for questions even if you are not a resident. They are a wonderful group of knowledgeable, caring people.

GRATEFUL FOR PARTNERSHIP

We are so grateful for our partnership with Bridge by EPOCH. They are always willing to share their knowledge and expertise to Westwood seniors here at the Center. And we have heard from many families that their inhouse programs are simply the best. Thank you Bridges for all that you do to help our elder community here in Westwood.

REAL COMMUNITY SERVICE

I have attended several zoom presentations by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood and have learned much from each presentation! Through these presentations, I think Bridges is providing a real community service as well as helping families, friends and caregivers of those residing at Bridges. The most recent presentation I attended featured Brent Forester, MD from McLean Hospital’s Geriatric Psychiatry department speaking on Alzheimer’ s Disease and Healthy Brain Aging. I greatly appreciated their recommendations backed by research on such topics as heart disease management, the importance of activity, nutrition, and so much more. I came away from the presentation feeling both hopeful and informed about concrete steps to take for the best chance of good outcomes.

ABOVE AND BEYOND DURING COVID-19

Great chance to say thank you though for continuing to go above and beyond in the love and care given to the residents. You and the entire staff are amazing! Please know how much it means to all the family members here on the outside. Not a day goes by that my dad does not say how grateful he is to know my mom is in your care.

APPRECIATION DURING COVID-19

We appreciate the steps that Bridges is taking for the safety of residents and staff.  I am cognizant of the burden of care you are carrying.  Stay strong, and we thank you.
