What Our Families Say
We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges® – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.
COMFORTING AND REASSURING
I was able to join the virtual session and learned so much. EPOCH is so embracing, inclusive and engaging of everyone and all that is so good … for each resident and the staff. So comforting and reassuring.

A POSITIVE APPROACH DURING COVID-19
During this very challenging time for all, staff, clients, and relatives – the likes of which the world has not seen for over a century – the staff has stepped up and taken a positive approach, and shifted from not just caring BUT concern first and then caring! This situation has caused a communication strain that can cause a breakdown in the system, BUT by working as a team, there are other ways to overcome this obstacle. Like a staff member seeing a client likes bacon so that person gets an extra slice. The front desk people being positive, attentive, and greeting people with a smile. Even if it is covered with a mask. Department heads having street smarts to head off certain situations. Other department heads having a keen eye on clients and seeing how they can put a smile on their faces! This all takes teamwork, and a well-oiled team does not always have to communicate verbally; they just know. And in a tough situation like we are all experiencing, this is where they shine! The unsung heroes of Hingham have and are!
Bridges, with an understandable challenge, is trying their best to prescribe a more productive medicine – better than any pharmaceutical could ever prescribe, laughter and smiles!

IN GOOD HANDS DURING COVID-19
I would like to thank the Bridges staff at Hingham from the bottom of my heart. Transitioning my mom from her quaint assisted living facility in Vermont to your Bridges memory care community was a huge transition for our entire family. From the folks at the top to the folks providing the hands-on care, our family couldn’t be more impressed with all that you do! As a hospice worker, I am constantly in and out of assisted living facilities, including memory care units, so I’ve seen it all… or so I thought I had. I have never been anywhere that comes close to what you all do to ensure your resident’s well-being, be it emotional support, safety, and overall wellbeing. Knowing that Mom is safe and in good hands during this Covid-19 pandemic is priceless!! Thank you!!

IN GOOD HANDS DURING COVID-19
I truly appreciate everything you are doing in this time of challenging circumstances. I know my mother is in good hands and being able to see her on FaceTime is very helpful. The staff is doing everything that is necessary to keep everyone safe and I am grateful, and I know my mom is as well.

COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONALISM
I have attended several caregiver support workshops by Bridges by EPOCH at Westwood and have found them very helpful. The experience, compassion and professionalism conveyed during these groups is wonderful and again, very helpful. We are not yet a resident of Bridges, but they are providing a real community service presenting these support groups and having them open to the public, not just families of residents. AND, I learned that they are also a great source for questions even if you are not a resident. They are a wonderful group of knowledgeable, caring people.

GRATEFUL FOR PARTNERSHIP
We are so grateful for our partnership with Bridge by EPOCH. They are always willing to share their knowledge and expertise to Westwood seniors here at the Center. And we have heard from many families that their inhouse programs are simply the best. Thank you Bridges for all that you do to help our elder community here in Westwood.
