What Our Families Say

We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges® – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.

WARM, COMFORTABLE PLACE

I’ve had experience with Bridges since it opened a few years ago. It is a warm, comfortable place for people with significant cognitive issues. EPOCH has a good reputation so I would have no issue recommending people check it out. And the food is actually really good; I’ve eaten in the community with my clients unannounced and Bridges delivers the quality of food promised during discovery.

AMAZING TEAM

I am honored to be a part of this amazing team. Our caregivers are so knowledgeable about each individual person, ensuring their personal preferences and needs are addressed. The nurses address any chronic and acute issues, while being nurturing and understanding of their concerns and fears. Our dietary staff take great pride in serving the best food, plated so it is also a feast for the eyes. Life enrichment engages every resident on their level, encouraging maximum cognitive stimulation and participation. Facility management/maintenance is as aware of each individual resident as well, and is engaged with them, and knows them personally. Our senior advisors are interactive with our residents, participating in activities and helping families with questions and concerns. The management team is always asking how we can do better, and never advertise “good enough”. We are truly a family, and always support each other, from families, residents to our coworkers.

BRIGHT AND WELCOMING

Bridges in Norwalk has been built for dementia patients and it is the best care facility I have seen and very happy that my husband is with them. There are a lot of big windows letting the sun in, it is laid out so residents can get around easily… not a lot of long hallways. The caregivers are very helpful and kind, the food looks delicious, and surroundings are well taken care of. For families, you want to visit because it’s bright, pretty and welcoming… and now that spring is here … the outside gardens and walking path are calming and a beautiful place to sit or walk with your loved one. So glad that Bridges built this facility and for those of us in need of extra support and help … this is the perfect place.

PASSIONATE CAREGIVERS

The warm, welcoming and knowledgeable staff is what sets the bar for this Assisted Living. It’s the passionate caregivers that really make the difference at Bridges, whose specialty is offering quality of life throughout the stages of memory loss. Having spent over 20 years in Assisted Living myself, I feel fortunate to be a professional partner to provide care and support to the residents and their families at Bridges by Epoch at Andover.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH EFFORTS

It’s always a privilege to work with the experienced staff at Bridges Andover. Their focus is truly on being a community-based facility. Their work with residents, caregivers, and professionals to bring a variety of resources into the community is evidenced by their community outreach efforts – informational panels open to residents and the public, caregiver programs, caregiver support groups and hosting Elder Network Meetings where professionals who work with, care for, or provide a service can share information and resources. Their Dash & Dine events – all through COVID – not only kept the professional community connected to the facility, but they brought a little joy to those who participated, especially caregivers who enjoyed a no-cook night.

AS GOOD AS IT GETS

It is as good as it gets. Mrs. Reshma Nair is a true trained professional who leads a team-spirited group of dedicated specialists, both in house and noted area physicians, social workers and support personnel.
