An Innovative, Inspiring Lifestyle
Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood delivers a wellness-centered lifestyle that promotes residents’ independence, creates moments of joy, and helps residents rediscover a life with purpose throughout all stages of memory loss. Our unique approach to memory care programming is highly individualized, and our purposefully designed environment encourages residents to participate in community life with confidence.
How can we help?
Dedicated Life Enrichment Team
At Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood, we get to know our residents personally. We learn about their past and listen to their stories. We discover their skills and favorite hobbies. Through this relationship building, our dedicated life enrichment team can customize activities and therapies that reinforce individual strengths and preferences, so residents enjoy happiness and heightened self-esteem.
Above all, we focus on residents’ abilities, value their opinions, and encourage them to have an active voice in their daily care and activities. Our life enrichment team delivers a wide range of meaningful engagement opportunities – from exercise classes and live entertainment to cognitive games and sensory therapies to baking and painting. We also take our memory care residents to local cafés, parks, sporting events and other fun destinations!
Unique, Dementia-Friendly Technologies
In addition to our wide range of activities and events, Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood offers senior-friendly, interactive technologies designed to improve the quality of life for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
With an extensive library of digital content and applications, iN2L™ is utilized on a regular basis to help keep residents connected and engaged. Residents enjoy dementia-friendly fitness programs, trivia and games, spiritual videos, cultural and travel features, and more.
Eversound® wireless headphone technology helps to counteract hearing loss and eliminate distracting background noises, allowing residents to fully enjoy daily programs and experiences.
