What Our Families Say

We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges® – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.

One of my dad's friends just texted me and said my dad sounded great. Happier than he has sounded since we sold his house. He said "I really like it here and I think people like me here."  Thank you and everyone else for making him feel dignified and welcome. Hopefully his good mood lasts!

Thank you for taking such good care of my sister. The pictures she's in she looks very happy.

The Facebook pics are a godsend!  Our family thanks you and the staff for all the fun activities and posting the pictures for us to share in the concerts and craft projects.  Keeps us together during this difficult time.

- Family of Bridges® Resident

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Hingham Bridges for 1-1/2 years. The facilities, staff, and activities are wonderful. They have not had any COVID infections since the pandemic began. The residents are not in their rooms except to sleep. They spend time in their living areas socializing together, and there are large living room and kitchen/dining areas where the friends are all together. Clean, bright, sunny, and the staff are cheerful and caring. Each wing has about 16 residents, and they all have access to large sunny courtyards that are beautifully landscaped, with paved pathways for walks, and rocking chairs, tables and umbrellas for visiting and socializing. The residents can go out to the courtyard on their own during nice weather.

Each day there is a full calendar of activities, even during the pandemic. They continue to bring entertainment in--and have had several concerts and activities outdoors in the courtyards, and indoors while everyone is wearing masks and is socially distanced. They do crafts, memory activities, games, art and there is a lot of one on one time. There is also a hair salon on site, and the dentist and podiatrist visit monthly for anyone needing appointments.

My husband, my mother-in-law and I could not be happier with her care. They even somehow make her ground food medical requirement tasty as their chef really cares! We have loved bringing our dog with us while we visit, and the entire staff and residents are welcoming and happy. Lately the visits have been very safe, structured and outdoors because of the health crisis, but overall, we highly recommend Bridges in Hingham!

Adele and I drove to Hingham and had a wonderful time! On the way home, Adele said, "I didn't realize how much I needed to get out and how much better I feel.”
Alicia and the staff made us feel like we were the guests of honor of the event.  Great music, Adele and I danced with everyone. The cider and donuts hit the spot and we came home with apple butter,  literature, apples, coffee mugs, an apple pie, a "Go with the Flow" three-dimensional  placard,  and an AUTOGRAPH!   Can you tell we had a wonderful time?
