We recently moved my mom into Bridges Mashpee and my family and I can not say enough good things about it. From the moment we were making the decision to the move in date, the Bridges team held our hands through out the entire process. They were extremely patient, kind and so informative answering all of our questions and making us feel at ease. My mom is doing extremely well and adjusting beautifully. We couldn’t be happier and we know we made the right decision, we can rest easy knowing she is the best hands and getting the care she deserves. A BEACON OF CARE
My father was moved to Bridges by EPOCH after a fairly rapid decline in his dementia and we needed a program that was welcoming and well suited to provide the care he needed. It was a very stressful time and I needed to feel comfortable that the memory care unit he moved to could meet my family and my father where we were and provide the support that we all needed. I remain amazed at the kindness and compassion that was shown to us. I was struck by the human connection that every person we encountered had as their mantra.
No ask was too big. Coming from an assisted living situation that had fallen short, I was most concerned about what decision we would make for the next step in this journey. I went with my gut feeling and was not wrong. From the initial meeting with the sales team to the nursing assessment, from the move-in day to the day we sadly had to move out my father’s things when he passed away, I felt supported and reassured that we had made the right decision about his care. MAKING SMOOTH TRANSITIONS
My mother moved to Bridges of Westwood just a month ago from another memory care community where she lived for 4 years. I was very nervous initially in moving my mother because I was worried it would set her back given her condition of advanced Alzheimer’s. The opposite has been true. IT FEELS LIKE HOME
Since my dad arrived there in mid-September, I have been nothing but impressed with the many aspects of Bridges by Epoch at Westford, as well as its staff & management. Upon walking in, it feels just like home – a very positive, calm, cozy, & welcoming environment. The facility is very clean, well-secured, & smells wonderful. (Did I mention all the positive, helpful people, delicious food, beautiful courtyards, and adorable pet chickens? It’s hard not to love this place.) They also have on-site visits from an excellent doctor, NP, & dentist, to ensure our loved-ones are well taken care of. Most importantly, I was also taken aback by how professional, caring, & supportive everyone here is. Not to sound cliché, but they actually DO make you and your loved one feel like family.
