VERY HAPPY I CHOSE BRIDGES
The staff at Bridges Mashpee are very cooperative, good listeners and responsive to requests. The building is clean and has a great security system to prevent wandering without feeling locked in. The food is great!
I chose Bridges for its design. They take 60 residents and divide them into three neighborhoods, so my wife enjoys being one of twenty neighbors instead of the overwhelming 60.
What I like most is spending time visiting my wife and engaging with other residents, staff and their family members. The administration is seen on the floor most of the time, especially Edmund, the Executive Director.
I’m very happy I chose Bridges for my wife’s care.

AMAZING RESOURCE
Since I am caring for my 95-year-old husband who has dementia alone at home with an aide, I am eager to have any information I can to help us with this incredibly challenging life stage. I discovered Bridges by EPOCH during a web search and have been an enthusiastic attendee at their programs ever since. The education sessions are excellent and the support group for family members of people with memory loss is terrific; so far all sessions I have chosen have been virtual. From each of these – and others- I have learned a huge amount.
My husband also attends their monthly support group for people with early-stage memory loss and he, a retired professor, finds them very helpful.
The staff is very warm and supportive which is hard to get across in virtual sessions, but they manage to do it. Special kudos to Alicia Seaver who is a fountain of knowledge.
If you are struggling with these kinds of issues on a daily basis, as I am, I suggest you check out this amazing resource. I have been raving about it to friends after each session!

FEEL LIKE FAMILY
My mother was a resident here and was cared for by angels. The staff is unparalleled — patient, thoughtful, sweet, fun, calm, caring, making so many extra efforts — always. They made a difficult time special, soulful, and joy-filled. My mum passed away more than a year ago and I still stop by to visit; the people still feel like family and the place feels soothing, happy, and like home. I would look nowhere else.

LOVING AND TALENTED STAFF
My sister spent the last 3 1/2 years of her life at Bridges. When she first got there she was pretty fearful and negative, but after only a week or 2 she was very happy there – thanks to the great facility, all the activities, and particularly the loving and talented staff. In fact, her stay at Bridges was one of the happiest periods of her life – even despite the Covid quarantine. I can’t say enough about how well Bridges handled the difficult quarantine period, and how the entire staff ministered to my sister in so many ways throughout her entire stay. THOUGHT AND LOVE
I wanted to thank you for the wonderful Valentine’s Dinner that was provided for my mother and myself as her caregiver. It was so appreciated and very much enjoyed. Compliments to the chef.
