What Our Families Say
We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges® – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.
WARM & CARING SUPPORT
I can’t say enough good things about Bridges! They are attentive and fabulous. While my loved one is not a resident (I wish she was!), the staff that I have been in contact with has been amazing. Learning about dementia has been new for me, and the support group, many email check ins and Zoom sessions during this difficult pandemic have been reassuring. I asked for advice on how to better help my mom and I received warm and caring support. Sarah is a wonderful person and so knowledgeable in the field of dementia.

COMPASSIONATE CARE
When my dad was in practice, and even well after he retired, it never ceased to surprise me how many people recognized him and would stop to talk about what a wonderful pediatrician he had been to them or to their children. The words people used most often to describe him were kind, caring, gentle, and warm. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that in his time of need Dad received the same kind of compassionate care that he himself once gave so freely. Not being able to be by his side when he was ill was difficult for me, but knowing that he was surrounded by people who obviously deeply cared for him and for his well-being eased my pain.
We appreciate you, and wish you the best as you continue your work during this difficult time.

MEMORY CAFE
I wanted to give you some great feedback on today’s Americana Memory Café. My father and my husband both participated in it today and had a wonderful time. The music was fun, memorable, and my Dad’s favorites. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to participate also but I have to tell you that when I arrived home shortly afterwards, they were both happy and glowing from having a good time. Thank you so much for offering this program to us. We look forward to participating in more of them in the future. Keep up the good work!

EXTRA MILE
We couldn’t have asked for better care for my parents during their residency at Bridges by EPOCH of Andover. The accommodations are spacious and comfortable and have a homey feel. There are numerous activities to engage the residents. But best of all are the many staff members who go the extra mile in their compassion and commitment to the health and well-being of the residents. The current pandemic has made their job complicated and dangerous but their dedication hasn’t faltered. A heartfelt thank you to Bridges.

Staff Is Superb
My sister went to Bridges in Hingham for a 1 month trial and is enjoying an active life 1 1/2 yrs later. I’ve never seen her happier. The atmosphere is one of caring, kindness, and love for residents and their family members. The staff is superb. They follow the terrific lead of the management team who, in addition to their individual responsibilities, each spend time with residents either overseeing a group activity or just visiting briefly throughout the day in each house. The list of activities within the daily schedule at Bridges is varied and keeps residents very busy, yet there is time to relax and enjoy some quiet time or the outside, weather permitting. In addition to a full list of daily activities and a variety of frequent entertainment programs, there are many trips beyond Bridges. Monthly family programs are held, but family members are welcomed any time, any day to join in activities when they visit. My sister has been able to continue doing for others by serving lunch once a month at a homeless shelter with a small group of residents and staff. She has showed a renewed interest in creative activities i.e. painting, knitting, gardening, baking, and making crafts. Some items made were used to decorate her room, donated or used in a residents’ fair. Like any home, there are sometimes things that need to be “fixed.” Any time there has been a question, a different point of view, or a concern, it has been handled professionally, promptly and with my sister’s best interest in the forefront from all sides. Residents are treated with love and respect while they encouraged to live the best life they can in a warm, comfortable home.
