The development of this brand-new memory care assisted living community in Middlesex County was a partnership between EPOCH Senior Living, a premier provider of senior care since 1997, and National Development, a real estate investment and development first based in Newton, MA.

The opening marks the 11th Bridges® by EPOCH stand-alone memory care assisted living community in New England for EPOCH Senior Living. EPOCH Senior Living also operates four luxury Waterstone Senior Living communities in MA, CT and NY, with Waterstone of Lexington currently under development in Lexington, MA.
Bridges® by EPOCH at Lexington is located next to the Belmont Country Club and has three residential households, each consisting of 16 memory care suites – 14 private suites with private bathrooms and two companion suites offering private bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
The community has been thoughtfully and meticulously designed with numerous safety and support features to enhance quality of life and provide a safe, comfortable home for those in all stages of memory loss. In addition, the community offers an array of services and amenities, including a wellness center, salon, household country kitchens, library, and therapeutic gardens and walking paths. The development enables many longtime Lexington and local residents to stay in the area they love while receiving the care they need.
Memory care programming includes a dedicated life enrichment team that gets to know each resident personally and customizes activities and therapies to increase happiness and raise self-esteem. Interactive technologies have been designed to support those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. iN2L™ is used regularly to keep residents engaged and connected with programming, while Eversound® wireless headphone technology eliminates frustrating background noise and counteracts hearing loss to enable residents to participate in community life.
