Meet Jasmin Hennebury, another wonderful member of our wellness team at Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham. A few months after receiving her certification as a nursing assistant, Jasmin found her first job as a C.N.A. at Bridges and began her career in health care. “It was an exciting change,” Jasmin said, who had previously worked in the food industry. “Bridges by EPOCH has opened a lot of doors for me.” She has been with us for two years, joining our team shortly after we opened.
Under the direction of our Wellness Director Nadine Shweiri, Jasmin works alongside her fellow C.N.A.s to look after the health, safety, comfort and happiness of our residents. She assists residents who need help with personal care or medication administration, helps them get ready for breakfast, and attends to their rooms to keep them tidy and comfortable. Throughout the day, she engages residents in scheduled activities such as morning workouts and trivia.
Like so many members of our staff, Jasmin is a team player, always ready and eager to help out wherever she can. She’s helped in our office, activities department and kitchen. We take such great pride in team members like Jasmin and their commitment to fostering a truly welcoming, safe environment for our residents and their families.
What Jasmin enjoys most about working at Bridges by EPOCH at Hingham is the people. “I love my coworkers and love working with the residents. We have a great team here,” she said.
Jasmin says that beginning her career at a memory community like ours has been a meaningful experience that has allowed her to grow on both a personal and professional level. “I’ve learned a lot along the way,” she said. “It teaches me a lot of things, and has helped me have more patience and understanding.
A Hingham native, Jasmin enjoys exploring the beauty of our town. “I love nature and being outdoors,” she said. In particular, she likes spending time in nature while she walks her dog Tyke, an adorable Yorkie mix she often brings to Bridges to make residents smile. Jasmin is truly a kind, compassionate person and we’re so glad to have her here!
