Welcome to Bridges®
Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk, exclusively designed to support those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss, features a beautiful residential design. Our community is separated into four households on two floors – Hoyt, Sheffield, Betts and Shea – with a secure elevator for resident safety. Each household offers its own welcoming common areas that look and feel like home.
How can we help?
Designed and developed by dementia care experts, our memory care assisted living community is characterized by a secure, easy-to-navigate layout that helps to reduce confusion and promotes comfort and familiarity. Soft contrasting colors, directional cues and abundant natural light create an inviting environment that alleviates anxieties associated with dementia and welcomes residents to relax at home.
Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk’s four distinct households each offer private and companion suites. Common spaces within our community provide a warm atmosphere and a perfect setting for a variety of activities, events and family-style dining.

Designed for Outdoor Living
We know that fresh air and sunshine are good for us – and it’s particularly true for those with dementia. At Bridges® by EPOCH at Norwalk, our second floor boasts a partially covered, open-air deck for social gatherings and time outdoors, while the first floor features a secure, fully enclosed courtyard.
Residents can enjoy a stroll along the courtyard’s walking paths, relax on the comfortable deck or patio seating, watch the birds at the bird feeders, look for wildlife in the gardens or plant and tend vegetables in the raised planter boxes. Best of all, our culinary team prepares delicious foods using the herbs and vegetables that our residents help grow.
Thank you Alex and staff. We are blessed to have you caring for our loved ones. Stay well.
– Diane, Family of Bridges® Resident
