Designed for Outdoor Living

Research shows that sunshine and fresh air are good for the body, and it’s especially true for those with dementia. At Bridges® by EPOCH at Westwood, our memory care assisted living community boasts secure outdoor living – a fully enclosed courtyard on the first level and a partially covered, open-air deck on the second floor.

Residents can take a walk around the landscaped paths, watch the wildlife in the gardens, help fill the bird feeders and baths, or simply relax in the comfortable seating on the patio. The raised planter boxes are always a favorite with residents who enjoy planting and tending the garden. As a bonus, our chefs create delicious meals using the vegetables and herbs that residents help grow.
