What Our Families Say

We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.

Bridges in Westford is an outstanding facility in every respect. The staff is warm, caring, and provides individualized attention and care to our mother. Bridges' programming is varied – they bring the community into the program and also take residents out into the community. The activities are informed by the needs of individuals with memory issues, rather than simply keeping them busy. Our mother is very happy at Bridges and has really flourished being there. All in all, it's a superb program that we're very grateful to have found.

I can’t tell you how very grateful we are for you and for everyone at Bridges.  I'm not worried about Mom, as I know that you’re doing everything you can to keep her and everyone else safe and healthy.

We have never had a doubt for one single second about the choice we made to move Mom to Bridges. Trish and I visited about 8 different programs when it became clear that we needed to find her a new place to live, and Bridges was heads above every other place we saw. In fact, it was an easy choice for us to make, because it was abundantly clear that the quality of your program was superior to every other program we considered. As Mom's dementia was progressing prior to coming to Bridges, I was consumed with worry about her. I don’t worry about her at all now, because I know she is in very good hands. She is happy there, and she feels the genuine warmth and support from all the staff, which means so much to our family.

I want to thank you and let you know how much we appreciate all you do and what amazing staff Bridges has. Each evening when I call my mother I sometimes get to talk to the aide and I thank them for all they are doing. Bridges is amazing and we are so fortunate to have you there!

My mother has been a resident of Bridges by Epoch in Westford, Massachusetts for almost two years. She has received outstanding care and thoroughly enjoys all the activities and entertainment offered. Meals are appetizing and wholesome and the familiarity of a daily routine is comforting to residents dealing with memory issues.

The staff and management at Bridges in Westford are compassionate and professional. They work tirelessly with the residents and are very responsive to each resident's wants and needs. Highly recommended!

I am writing this letter in support of Bridges by Epoch at Westford. I have had the privilege of working with the amazing team at Bridges by Epoch at Westford for over a year now. I am one of the nurse interventionists working on a large 3 year multistate study out of the University of Maryland and Penn State with the goal of finding creative ways to keep older adults active in order for them to increase their strength, mobility, and independence. I can say that the Bridges team is truly the most extraordinary group of individuals I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. They are smart, fun, energetic, compassionate, and completely devoted to improving the quality of life for the residents. They are genuinely tireless in their efforts to get to know each individual. They continually plan creative, fun and interesting activities that stimulate the senses, body, and mind.

Some of the many activities that residents have enjoyed include group outings, creative dancing, actively playing with trivia balls, using peddlers, imaginative and innovative exercises, and fun stretching before and after activities. They have a Healthy Living program. They have a safe and inviting indoor and outdoor space for residents to walk. Their residents are also able to walk anywhere virtually – for example, they have a large printed map of the Freedom Trail and the residents are able to wear pedometers and track their virtual progress along the Trail as they walk which has been exciting. They even have the most beautiful chickens that residents like to watch and feed. I have spent a lot of time with the Bridges residents over the past year, and they are some of the happiest and content individuals I have come to know. They really enjoy their time and quality of life each and every day. The staff continually provide each person with attention, and love to participate in activities right alongside the residents which produces endless smiles and fun. They also have extensive resources for family members.

It is always difficult to decide upon the right place for a loved one. Bridges by Epoch is a truly exceptional facility with an exceptional staff team. There is a special pulse, energy and unparalleled excitement here that you feel the moment you come through the doors. It is no wonder they are a top-rated memory care facility and have won numerous awards including the “2019 Best of – Senior Living” Award, and the “Friends of Vocational Education” Award. It is not often that I have encountered an environment like this, where I know I would definitely entrust the care of my own loved ones. It is a place I would also want to be one day when that time comes.
