COMPASSIONATE CARE
When my dad was in practice, and even well after he retired, it never ceased to surprise me how many people recognized him and would stop to talk about what a wonderful pediatrician he had been to them or to their children. The words people used most often to describe him were kind, caring, gentle, and warm. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that in his time of need Dad received the same kind of compassionate care that he himself once gave so freely. Not being able to be by his side when he was ill was difficult for me, but knowing that he was surrounded by people who obviously deeply cared for him and for his well-being eased my pain.

MEMORY CAFE
I wanted to give you some great feedback on today’s Americana Memory Café. My father and my husband both participated in it today and had a wonderful time. The music was fun, memorable, and my Dad’s favorites. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to participate also but I have to tell you that when I arrived home shortly afterwards, they were both happy and glowing from having a good time.
