Designed for Outdoor Living
Studies show that fresh air and sunshine do a body good – and it’s especially true for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of memory loss. At Bridges® by EPOCH at Mashpee, our memory care community features a secure, fully enclosed courtyard that provides the wonderful opportunity for outdoor living.
Residents can take a stroll on the landscaped walking paths, observe wildlife in the gardens, help fill the bird feeders, or simply relax with friends on the patio. A favorite feature of the courtyard is the raised planter boxes where residents plant, tend and harvest vegetables and herbs – which are then often used by our chefs to create delicious meals.
