What Our Families Say

We could fill several websites telling you about our supportive, purpose-built design, personalized life-enrichment programs, and exceptional care and services … but, while remarkable and unique, those are merely the ingredients we use to create the real magic of Bridges – the magic that is shown on the faces of our residents and felt in the hearts of their families.

DIGNIFIED & WELCOME

One of my dad’s friends just texted me and said my dad sounded great. Happier than he has sounded since we sold his house. He said “I really like it here and I think people like me here.”  Thank you and everyone else for making him feel dignified and welcome. Hopefully his good mood lasts!

KEEPING US TOGETHER

The Facebook pics are a godsend!  Our family thanks you and the staff for all the fun activities and posting the pictures for us to share in the concerts and craft projects.  Keeps us together during this difficult time.

ENGAGED, LOVING CARE & WONDERFUL ACTIVITIES

After researching and visiting 16 different facilities, I placed my mother at Bridges in Westford in May 2018 as it offered her the best environment, daily activities/ lifestyle, and engaged, loving care for someone with dementia. I like to visit my mother a lot (10-12 hours a week) so I know Bridges well and I am very glad that my mom is there. Everything at Bridges is available for my mom – totally unlike those small, dreary lockdown memory units in the bigger facilities. Mom loves nature and thoroughly enjoys the open door to the expansive, beautiful garden replete with 5 very sweet chickens and a coop! We love sharing a delicious lunch or dinner together on the patio. We also greatly enjoy many of the wonderful activities that are offered – the musical entertainment is fantastic! I have fun, too, and it is fun to see so many of the residents singing along with songs they’ve known so well. It’s a very upbeat, caring, and positive place. My mom often comments, “This is a nice place,” or “I like this place,” or “I feel safe here.” My mom is happy. So, I am happy. I would give Bridges 10 stars if I could!

VALUABLE INFORMATION & SUPPORT

I just wanted to take the time to tell you how much it means to me to have your continuous support while I newly navigate the testing and unknown future for my dad. The web classes that I have signed up for on Thursdays have been immensely informative and I always share with my sister what I have learned which helps ease the confusion and worry we both are experiencing. With your kindness and compassion, I feel less anxious because I know that I have valuable information that you have provided me and I also know that I can contact you at any time for a question or feedback. It is immeasurably comforting to have met you and I just wanted to thank you for always being there for me and keeping me in the loop with all of the valuable resources that Bridges offers caretakers.

ALWAYS SOMETHING TO DO

We love Bridges at Westford for the care and love the staff showers on our mother and all the residents.  She takes part in all the engaging, daily activities exploring art, culture, nature, cuisine, movement, faith and lots of fun games. The gracious dining room offers her choices of healthy meals and all-day snacks and fruit. The courtyard is a big hit with paths lined in flowers and surrounded by tall pines – always offers the fresh scent of nature.
The leadership and staff have performed a Herculean feat keeping all the residents and staff safe during the onslaught of the coronavirus pandemic. My mother feels safe and pampered at Bridges. There is always something to do with the other residents or she can relax in her private bedroom and take a nap. We could not ask for more. We thank the entire staff for their excellent care!

WARM & CARING SUPPORT

I can’t say enough good things about Bridges! They are attentive and fabulous. While my loved one is not a resident (I wish she was!), the staff that I have been in contact with has been amazing. Learning about dementia has been new for me, and the support group, many email check ins and Zoom sessions during this difficult pandemic have been reassuring. I asked for advice on how to better help my mom and I received warm and caring support. Sarah is a wonderful person and so knowledgeable in the field of dementia.
