My father was moved to Bridges by EPOCH after a fairly rapid decline in his dementia and we needed a program that was welcoming and well suited to provide the care he needed. It was a very stressful time and I needed to feel comfortable that the memory care unit he moved to could meet my family and my father where we were and provide the support that we all needed. My husband has been a resident at Bridges Westwood for almost one year. Our family had been taking care of him at home with multiple caretakers. We thought ok this is working; of course we had no comparison. A friend suggested we look at the Bridges, almost one year later we know we made the right decision. Yes, the facility is lovely, the food great, the staff working hard taking care of so many (especially with staffing in health care facilities so challenged). My husband is thriving at Bridges.
