Dedicated Life Enrichment Team

As we do in our sister communities, the Bridges® by EPOCH at Lexington team gets to know each resident personally – their favorite memories and stories, life achievements, skills, hobbies and other interests – and customizes activities and therapies (like music, pet or reminiscence) to increase happiness and raise self-esteem while exercising residents’ physical, cognitive and social skills.

Above all, we respect residents’ abilities, value their opinions, and encourage them to have an active voice in their daily activities and care. If they like to paint, sing or play games, that’s what we do. If they have a favorite local entertainer, our life enrichment team invites them to come perform for us. If they want to see the ocean, we even take them to the beach. We also take residents to local cafés, parks, sporting events and other fun area destinations!

Technologies Designed for Seniors

Bridges® by EPOCH at Lexington also offers dementia-friendly, interactive technologies designed to support those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

With a vast range of digital content, iN2L™ is used regularly to keep residents engaged and connected. iN2L™ features fun programs for fitness, travel, cultural experiences, art, trivia, games, spirituality and more.

Eversound® wireless headphone technology eliminates frustrating background noise and counteracts hearing loss. These headphones are used to help residents fully participate in daily programs and experiences.
